2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Ever since the pothole I have noticed the gear selection rather random, ie: dropping down quicker when not really needed, and rev pickup when accelerating with not as much actual momentum increase. I put it down to the 19" spate initially but now all the alloys are matched again it's still doing it. RRS gone

another thought

Would having a brand new tyre on the NSF be causing an issue?

The OSF is part worn but certainly not anywhere near half life (only done 4k in it since I got it)

Just thinking of possible suggestions when it goes in. RRS gone

Try swapping both your wheels around front to back, your rears will be more evenly worn and it might help eliminate the problem.

car gone into dealers today....

They are as bemused as I was... communication error from the transmission module

I've suggested swapping front and rears to him to see if that solves it... got the usual "we're unable to calibrate the car to 22" wheels" line...but I told them it's been fine up to the other day when I replaced the front alloy....

Fingers crossed for a solution anyway.. RRS gone

Well, it turned out to be track rods so far out causing gearbox confusion and then fault codes. RRS gone

Must have been because I had the tracking done just 2 months ago.

The gearbox must really have been confused because the performance now is back up to nothing short of fantastic. Also, the mpg gas jumped to 26.4 mpg RRS gone
