I've just had my insurance renewal through from Allianz,it has gone up from £830 to £1194
And even worse it's even more when I hopefully sort my new one out in March.
Has anyone else running a Sport as a company car for business use and high mileage renewed recently that could recommend an alternative? MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

Just got a multicar policy from Admiral for e and the mrs, both of us driving both cars.

Extremely reasonable rates, worked out about 25% cheaper than anyone else! (with seperate car policies)

Same here - although I appreciate this is a business use quote you're looking for by the sounds of things, but we've also got multicar policy from Admiral for me and the Mrs, again both of us are insured to drive both our cars.

But even when I was shopping around for single car quotes for the RRS, Admiral came out as most competitive on a number (probably the majority) of the comparison websites.

Again, hope that helps....worth a phone call or some online form filling.

Someone in the office told me about THIS. You put in the amount you expect to pay for insurance and your job title and it suggests other job titles in the same area which save money just by using a different (but approriate) job title!
I haven't tried it for real yet, so don't know whether it's just a gimmick, worth a try if you've got 10 minutes spare and the inclanation.

Lol, when I put in Merchant Seaman it recommends changing my job title to, among lots of suggestions, Police Officer, Customs Officer, Immigration Official...................

BTW on the BBC R4 consumer program on Monday they investigated why ALL vehicle insurers have put their premiums up by 30% this year............ The ABI couldn't really explain it but they did blame a lot of th rise on some footballer who's Merc was badly damaged by the other party and he claimed for an Aston martin DB9 at £595 a day for 60 days............. The question was why was his cheap and nasty Merc E Class replaced by an Aston which was no way in anybody's wildest dreams a same for same replacement. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I suppose the real measure of an Insurance company is how it treats you in the event of a claim...On the surface a low premium may satisfy our cash flow but might just be a nightmare in waiting when we need to use it.
Sometimes cheapest isn't best unfortunately..

I am with swiftcover and this year the premium went up by£120. This is still the cheapest quote I can get

Company director aged 34 with business use and I cannot get the policy back under £450 (this years quote is £550)!

Business mileage is not too high, mainly drive to the airport and the occasional meeting in the UK
