Give all the leather seats a really good wipe down with BABY WIPES (cheap and work very well Smile) then give the carpets and roof liner a good "febreezing" Laughing

Failing that, if you are feeling flush, take it to a local detailer!

If you're anal about detailing like me this stuff is very good -

From when I use to work in the motor trade we used to use a product called "smoke bomb" (or similar) basicly its an aresol spray that get detonated in the car with the fans all on and the re-circulation button on and it completely destroys the odour.

When I get the jag for my missus we got it off a fella who was 20 a day in the car. And I got one of e-bay for about a fiver. I spent the day doing a full clean and carpet shampoo, leather clean and general all purpose interior cleaners then I set this smoke bomb off.

Seriously is goo. Had a couple of months withthe car smelling like the perfume section in boots but now it's 100% neutral.

It's is a seriously good product IMO and worked for me a treat. Let me know how you get on with it, like I said you might find it takes a few weeks to stop smelling so strong as it penetrates the headlining and air vents etc... At first you get out the car and your bloody clothes smell like it... People think you have a weird aftershave on. Don't buy the car if its been smoked in. You can use whatever product you like but the result will always only be temporary. Yo can never really get rid of it even with the bomb thing....

Don't bother with anything that has a fragrance, it just covers it up and makes your car smell like a 1985 Nova.....chavtastic.

As for thoroughly cleaning the car, it has never worked for me. The smell will still exist as its gets into places a human cannot. It will help, but not a cure.

All you need is one of these:
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...yId_165632

Takes 10 mins, gets rid of ALL the smell completely and treats your Air Con to boot Thumbs Up

It really is a little miracle. L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!
