Things I'm going to miss...

The car goes today and I had my last drive this morning...it won't be my last time in an RRS, as I'll be back in one again soon....but lasting memories after 3 years ownership

1. It really is the easiest car to drive. So easy to place, so easy to put your foot down and drive like a normal car, and how it wafts along so effortlessly..

2. Will miss the sound system, the best in any car I've had

3. And yes the most reliable ever....better than any other car before it

4. Street Presence - like no other, and that regal driving position

I will really miss my Rangey....what a f***ing amazing car!!!

Well the car was 4 years old and had close to 70,000 miles - no warranty, insurance jumped from £300 to £600 on renewal, cost of petrol, and servicing and also road tax - and I have a new Z4.....I just felt having 2 cars for my own use a little excessive - therefore I wanted to sell, and will chop the Z4 in for my new car.

Porsche Panamera is on it's way..... Thumbs Up

Well James did make me a very good offer on a Fuji RRS with sunroof and DVD etc....

But it would feel like doing the same thing, when i could have kept my RRS - but TBH the single thing that puts me off a new RRS is the knocking issue. When a salesman says he can't g'tee it won't happen again, that worries me.

The Panamera deal is not done entirely just yet, subject to the finances being sorted out, it will take a few days...

Car went today....only thing I won't miss is the ghastly LCD dash on the old RRS...shockingly bad and embarrassing. It was crap 6 years ago and awful now.....but that's it.

4 hour sale has to be a record. Sad yes but glad it's away...to a hire car company who charge £225 a day....shame it couldn't have gone to a better home... Crying or Very sad

2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Galway Green

I think the main things I'm going to miss are:
-The driving position and the super comfy seats
-The stereo system which was superb.
-The adaptive xenon lights. My new car doesn't have them Big Cry
-The V8 rumble.
-The fridge for always keeping a cold drink on hand.

Good luck with the Porsche Nick, I know how much you like them. Will it be brand new? What spec? WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

2010 TDV8 HSE Galway Green - Adaptive Cruise - Sunroof - Privacy Glass - 5 Spoke Alloys
2009 TDV6 3.0 HSE Buckingham Blue - GONE
