Well long story really..
As we're public service accountants, we deal with a whole variety of services, so meet a lot of different brokers and pass business along between ourselves.. Mortgages, Pensions, Investment trusts etc etc..

My father hates depreciating cars, although he allows himself to be pushed by me mostly into comparitively nice cars... i have started trying to source private financing brokers for our clients and friends for our vehicles, and would openly reccomend anyone on here their services also.

I came across a new one recently, who deal primarily in top line exclusive motors, i.e. Gallardos, 360 Spider, Vanquish, RRS, M5 (just this week!) etc etc.. and i approached them for a quotation for our new RS4's that we are getting soon, and i happened to mention i have an RRS TDV6 HSE to dispose of, and he bit my arm off and they have just been to pick it up this morning at the agreed price.. Real nice chaps, know their cars and the market well. They turned up in a Bentley continental which was a nice touch!

They have a large pool of clients who chop and change their cars through them, and as they do good deals and aren't greedy on pex prices and margins, they find most clients come back again and again which keeps them in business and ever expanding. They are now my financier of choice, and i would reccomend them to anyone..

I remember a watchdog type program about people like this - a company called Atlantic Finance (?) in your area Kam. They get the cars but the money bounces and you never see them again. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

ah.. one step ahead of you VA, you great wind up merchant..
My car has tracker horizon installed, and its still active, also, my insurance is still on this car, plus i still have the V5 as i have to transfer my plate off the car, then send them the new one.. so technically, its still my car, and i can report it stolen at any time.. i plan on cashing the draft, waiting for the finance to be settled, then sending them the new V5 which will show the BD05 number.. up until that date i ain't surrendering my ownership title..
(plus have gap, so they would actually be doing me a favour if this was to happen..!)

Sorry confused here. I didn't say the company you dealt with are up to anything, I don't even know who they are! All I saw was this watchdog style programme about this finance company that strips down cars before the sellers realise. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
