U0405 error code after using BAS interface to read codes?

Just read my recorded fault codes and this was the only one that popped up:

U0405

"Invalid data from cruise control module"

This is a new one on me

Cruise works just fine, along with the adaptive control... RRS gone

Hi there, did you get it sorted? If so what was the problem?

TBH because everything's working ok I've not bothered to look further!

Probably an old error message still in the log file.

What I was really looking for was the dreaded EGR fault code... which thankfully wasn't there Thumbs Up RRS gone

You don't need to check for EGR fault codes as your amber engine light will come on when you have a fault on a Euro 4 2007 onwards car, as I found out Sad

U0405 fault code

Just got our TDV8 back from the stealers (parking sensors faulty) and have plugged my BAS box in to replace the standard map with the tuned one, all was good with the upload, started the engine after the process had completed all good there also.

So I decided to check for any fault codes in the ecu memory and U0405 is a logged code, tried to clear it but it reappears again.

What does the U0405 code apply to?? If it is the cruise module it seems to be working ok Discovery TD5 commercial (gone)
