Getting back to Sydney with Severe Floods

The amount of water that is around looks pretty scarey, nearly half of Queensland under water Shocked Lucky for us Airlie has not suffered.. its just getting south again which will be the challenge..

We are aiming to leave North Queensland next Friday/Saturday and travel back to Sydney... by Road that is if the floods receed around Rockhampton or any alternative routes... which in themselves are closed at this moment in time.. Banging Head fingers crossed that some routes open by the end of the week

I feel sorry for the poor souls living in Emerald/Rockhampton etc.. must be devastating Another Pommie Bar Steward down under
