United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Bonatti Grey
For sale - TDV6 SE with sat nav, Bonatti grey

I'm selling my fabulous RRS and changing it for a Disco3. I must be mad! I will really miss the Sport, but a Disco will be more practicle for me as I'm also selling my van (see http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...&rd=1) too and the Disco will be used for work and therefore I need something with the larger carrying capacity.

The exterior is Bonatti grey (which really goes well with the Sport's grey grill, handles and trim) and doesn't show up the dirt like black or silver does. The interior is alpaca leather & cherry wood (classiest combination). The warranty and road side cover is until 19th May 2008. It's done 14,845 miles and had it’s first service only last, so there is no extra expense for another 15,000 miles.

Standard SE specification: 6-speed tiptronic with low ratio, front & rear split differential and lockable electronic centre differential; height adjustable air suspension; Terrain Response system; dynamic stability control; active roll mitigation; hill descent; 8 airbags (head, curtain and thorax); electric park brake with automatic release; ultrasonic remote alarm; electric front seats, windows & folding mirrors; cruise control; 18” alloys; rear parking sensors; Bi-Xenon headlights; automatic climate control; leather seats; voice control; heated front windscreen; heated washer jets; heated seats front & rear; front fog lamps; headlamp power wash; automatic lights; rain sensor (automatic wipers); electrochromatic rear view mirror; Harman/kardon hifi system with subwoofer; 6 CD change in dash with MP3 and aux input in rear (for ipod).

Extras fitted on this car: Premium satellite navigation with TMC and off-road navigation; metallic paint (Bonatti grey); front parking sensors; privacy glass; tow pack (detachable tow bar and double electrics); roof rails and cross bars; mudflaps front and rear; stainless steel sill protectors; LR load space rubber mat; LR rubber mats front & rear.

This is a genuine UK supplied vehicle and was purchased from our local Land Rover dealer. It was their demo car, so we beat the waiting list. Therefore we are the 2nd registered owner. The car was registered new 20/5/05 and we purchased it on 15/7/05. The car has been 100% reliable and has never let us down. It has had two minor warranty fixes - rear brake clip replaced, boot lid struts replaced and two software upgrades.
It is also cheap to insure - costing us only £375.

Looking at others for sale of the same age and spec, this would be priced at £42,000 at a LR dealer. When it is still under warranty, why pay the premium? I'm looking for £39,500 ovno.

We are located in South Oxfordshire, just 10 mins from M4 J13. PM me or phone on 07980 223 378.

See my gallery for the photos. Matt

I feel the same. Wondering if I'm doing the right thing.
Still, with selling my van too, I need something with some space and the RRS simply doesn't have enough of that.

My wife was coming back into the village this afternoon as the new owners were driving the car away. She is sad to see it go and it hit home when she saw someone else driving it. Matt

i hate selling my cars private.. hurts more.. when u part em you don't really give a Censored as you drive away in your new toy, but when you have to watch it drive off down the road, it hurts..

I remember last year when i sold my 325cab, i sold it to the sytner group buyer, and then got a lift home (in my own car!!) and then had to watch it be driven away by the Bmw driver.. Sad Sad Sad

Then to rub it in, saw it for sale on their forecourt a week later at £3850 markup... barstewards.. (but better price then Lr were offering so can't complain).

Have to go through this on thursday as well mpox11.. tell you what loosing two RRs' off the forum in one week.. sad days indeed..
Who did you sell to in the end? private owner or trader/agency/broker?

Mines going to a finance broker as u know mpox11.. good price for it so im happy.. but sad to see it go.. seeing as though i have to wait so long for the RS4... Sad Crying or Very sad

Watching my M5 drive away was also the same, it felt oddly like it wasn't really happening and that it was just a temporary thing. L319 D4 HSE
