Terrain Response Functions

Can someone either tell me or point me in the right direction to find out what happens to the vehicle when each of the Terrain Response settings are selected eg. changes in front rear bias, TC settings, hi/lo range etc.

Thanks

Won't be able to go into details but can already tell you that Hi/Low isn;t control by the TR system, you have to change it with it's own button Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6

Cant speak for all of the modes but the snow mode seems to little but adjust the throttle mapping so it is not as responsive and/or change gear earlier, perhaps the traction control is a little more agressive. In all fairness it's pretty useless imo.

If you find a deserted snow covered supermarket car park and select sand instead of GGS and then floor it you can have a whole lot of fun

Thanks for the comments - but I take it no one knows where I can find out what happens in the car with each TR selection.

Cheers

The GGS mode also activates the diff locks (if fitted) and on my TDV8 it is very handy in this weather here, if you look at the 4x4 info screen it will show you what the systems are doing.
GGS dampens the throttle response and makes the traction control much more sensitive also locks and unlocks the diffs as required. Also if you are in low range it switches on the Hill Descent Control

Rock Crawl can only be selected in low range and in off road hight, it dampens the throttle and locks the diffs.

Sand Mode sharpens the throttle makes the traction control less sensitive and locks the diffs quicker it also lessens the effect of the Dynamic Response.

those are my findings in having used them, Mud and Ruts I havn't used much so not sure on what it does exactly. Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

Because the throttle is less sensitive and it uses less fuel? Mr. Green
