Dealer Prices for Brakes - OMG !!!

So I just had the $60k service on my 2006 and it cost me a little under $700 here in California. The service guy says I need new pads as they are"nearing" the limit and quoted me $1700 (I assume this is for the pads and rotors)
My local brake place quoted $1400 for pads, rotors, sensors, fluid and 3 year warranty.

I assume sensors in the front only - yes?

Hi Twozzie

I believe the sensors are fitted to the front and rear but only on one side, on the basis that if one side requires changing the other side will as well!!

Jim
