Nowt wrong with a Freelander, ran one myself for several years - they are a lot better than most people give them credit for, especially offroad. If it hadn't been for the Freelander there probably would not be any Land Rover at all now.

Just got the Freelander (was using a P38 as an example Wink ).
I really like the Freelander, I was looking at some Land Rover forums earlier tonight and they actually had a thread 'bad things about the Freelander' or something like that, they were posting some really homophobic stuff, that no way would be allowed in this forum. The Freelander is actually pretty capable off road, I'd like a higher ground clearence, it doesn't do ruts! On our first green laning trip we went with a 90, and had to turn round because they couldn't get up a hill, we managed force time Laughing

We'll be passing through France on the way to Cyprus (Did mention we're moving to......just get on with it? Ok Rolling Eyes )

Definitely going back to Champagne for a few days - recommend it to anyone.
