D3 does LRE Dunkeld

Ladies and Gents,

I've been enquiring about getting use of the LRE centre at Dunkeld. This will be for the sole purpose of us using our own vehicles.

The day would consist of morning play on the purpose built track at the centre. It has it all there for every driver from the gentle slopes to the steep decent called 'The Dell', which is very similar to Geronimo at Boughrood. Sand pit, rock crawl lane, deep water......etc. Anyone who has done the level one here, will know the type of day to expect.

The afternoon session will take place in the grounds of Atholl Estate on a upgraded/ downgraded (however you wish to look at it) forestry track

No set dates as yet, this will be finalised once numbers are known as to who would fancy coming along. I'd be looking to get something organised between two and three months from now, but I need the interest registered first, as it will not be possible with only a few cars.

For those travelling from a distance, there are plenty of B&B's in the area. There is an accomodation link on their website. Hopefully with enough notice, some of the southerners would come along. It would be good to get a varied spread of folk from all over the uk.

Now for the important part. I'm looking for around 20 cars, more would be ideal and can be accomodated. The day will be fully marshalled and help always on hand. Costs will be in the region of £30 to £50 per vehicle.

RRS's are more than welcome. Please register interest HERE As I'll be using the list there as my guide to numbers.

...John

I can highly recommend LRE Dunkeld if you have never taken an LRE course or driven your Sport offroad. The site is set up to show you your car performing at it's very best and in some stunning scenery.

Oh yes............. and a few things that you don't get to do on a normal LRE like driving down flights of steps and log roads. Just pray for lots of rain before hand too to make sure that the Jungle is nice and wet and sticky! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Anybody else interested.

I'm looking to get a date set within the next week or so. Although I need more numbers to progress it. We can do it with less numbers, but the cost would reflect that.
