2011 Aus mini meet

Per this thread:

http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/post280598.html#280598

Signup for interest for the Vic Mini Meet now open. Please select the correct option above - All are welcome for either off road and wineries, or just the wineries element!

@Angel are you coming this time - maybe time to start walking the talk Whistle

Date will be late Feb or early Mar. Please respond to this thread or email/PM me with any date no go's for you and we'll try to work around those dates for all. At the end of the day we will need to go with the majority I'm afraid.

We will look to get quotes for lodgings for all who require, so please also reply below or PM /email me with your numbers. i.e. Number of rooms and number of guests per room.

I will update this thread once Rimini and I have met and worked out the detailed plan.

I have many email addresses from the last mini meet and other VIC RRSport meets, but please PM your email to me if I don't have it, as at some stage it is likely to transfer to an email dialogue.

For those who want to get an idea of what this is about here's the last meet from almost a couple of years ago:

Usual disclaimers on depending on dates etc. but we should be there.

Have selected wineries only as I don't want to break any bottles off road Laughing

What level of 4wd were you thinking? Just a white TDV8 with a few extras

I would guess most would just want easy to intermediate.... but happy to ask people's thoughts..

Although I think Zilch may want to put his shiny new MY10.5 through some very hard stuff just to try his new e-diff out! Wink

My big assumption would be that in Feb it would be very dry...

happy with all level of off-road fun, but prefer it if I don't have to repair panels or be rolled over again to get the wheels back on the dirt. Whilst I think of it, I think I know the answer, but any objections to non-RRS attendees?

WD and 640 - same questions for you both please:

What night would you arrive - Fri, leaving Mon am?

and also just one double room for two?

We'd come down on the Friday and leave on the Monday, but I'm sure my wife would prefer not to share with WD Laughing 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey with Alpaca premium leather, Adaptive cruise, Adaptive Bi-xenons, sunroof, Premium Nav, Premium ICE Logic 7, telephone, active locking rear diff, console coolbox, seat memory, powerfold mirrors, tow pack, window tint, dual battery, engel fridge, Goodyear Mud-Terrain tyres.

I see no objections as long as:

1 - they bring their own recovery gear Laughing
2 - they don't expect to appear in any photos Laughing Laughing
3 - they don't get upset if we end up going along tracks that they can't handle Laughing Laughing Laughing 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey with Alpaca premium leather, Adaptive cruise, Adaptive Bi-xenons, sunroof, Premium Nav, Premium ICE Logic 7, telephone, active locking rear diff, console coolbox, seat memory, powerfold mirrors, tow pack, window tint, dual battery, engel fridge, Goodyear Mud-Terrain tyres.

Australia

Count us in, 2 of Us for the wineries and the driving. Hopefully I will be out of my black American thing and into my shiny new RRS by then.

Let's work on arriving Friday and leaving Monday. Double room is fine seeing as Newton doesn't want to share!!! Just a white TDV8 with a few extras

Australia

2nd, My social secretary says Feb 11-13, Feb 25-27 are definitely a no-go for us and March 11-13 preferably no-go but otherwise we would be in for 3 nights. A pre Xmas catch up would be good. We will have to bounce dates given the business of the season.
