Another visit, same good service...

Got a Vogue TDv8 courtesy car. Thumbs Up

Had a ball joint changed (partyly under warranty) and anti roll bars.
- The knocking hadn't come back, just was not sounding like a D4 I drove last week.
Now sounds great.

A couple of other minor issues sorted.

The funny thing was the lady that called me to talk me through what I needed said I need new pads... That they were 90% done... I declined figuring I had an annual service in February... The Service Manager had a look and called me to say "mate. they are fu@ked. You really ought to change these". I know and trust him. Sorted.

Passed MOT

A valet.

I haven't had any cause to visit T&C since getting my new RRS but it will soon be due a service.

I have had no end of difficuilty with T&C Aberdeen, but i think it is down to organisation not the technical side of things. The salesman is a dick for want of a better word and has been told that in no uncertain terms.

When i first bought the car they had it for a week and still it was not ready....their excuse "it didn't go through service" Car was then rushed through and they did not valet it.

Later find that the bluetooth does not sync with iphone and thanks to a thread on here i was able to locate the relevant bulleting for update.

Another visit to Aberdeen to get this bluetooth update and the valet that was supposed to be done. Car goes in at 9am.....i telephone to check progress at 3pm car is not ready, still to go to valeters and bluetooth update was not carried out because they could not find it!!

Car is now booke for a THIRD visit!! If not rectified this time then i will take my complaint further to Land Rover.

First impressions mean a lot and im certain to say i am not confident in dealing with them again.

I paid for them to do a valet on mine through the discount vouchers they give you in the folder with the handbooks etc and they never did the roof yet!! Wouldn't be looking for miracles when they do do it!!! Big Cry Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.

535d m-sport Platinum grey and a few extras.... Gone

X5 3.0 sd in Space Grey, 20's, Dynamic Pack, Memory Pack, Media Pack, Tow Pack, Rear DVD, Panoramic Sunroof, Steps, 7 Seat Pack, Reversing Camera with moving lines, programmable park heat, etc etc etc - Gone

Range Rover Sport Santorini, privacy, dvd, towpack GONE!!!

Third Visit and still no further forward!

Fair enough this time i was shown a print out that stated "NO UPDATE AVAILABLE", but on arrival after travelling nearly 70 miles, i was told by Service Department:

"I showed the bulletin to the Technician and he informs me that this is what he done the last time and there was no update available"

Bearing in mind that i sent the bulletin to the salesman nearly a month ago.

I will send you a PM although i am now more interested in the Land Rover official compalints procedure, i will detail my issues from start to finish.

No problem if you send me an email address i will happily email my complaint over, i must admit there is no contact emails for aftersales or compalints on the Website.

I think this is not the thread to be discussing it on, i was mearly putting my experience over and until the matter is resolved i will not post any more info regarding my experience.
