High Beam assist is a nice gizmo but obviously useless in you mainly drive in the city....

If you consider doing hard off road, go for the one with the e-diff.... Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6

Hardly any back in 2007, but lots and lots of whites in Aus now since I bought mine back then, even D4's are common in white...

I think the e-diff will be a real value add/differentiator when you eventually sell given so few make it into Aus unless specifically selected by the original purchaser.. You may even get a little premium if you find someone who really wants the e-diff.. And if you do go off road a little like you have, it will be a little better than with just the terrain response and traction control!

Now go and order yourself some of those 18" wheels too Wink Laughing

You should check if there are any real differences between MY10.5 and MY11.. I'd be surprised if there were none, even if only negligible.. I thought Fuji White was new for MY11??

Also go read that post about the alleged TSB for the 3.0 that is about to come out...

2nd according to the dealer there are no differences on the specs on the OZ model apart from a .9K price hike and different colour options. I have been told the one on offer is a late 10.5 as it is a Fuji white rather than Alaskan which was the standard on the MY10's... Not sure how i can check that out, hopefully some of the members on here can advise and confirm... I will try and find out the VIN and build date and find out more info Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

On my MY08 there are two stickers under the bonnet near the grill.. One says Build Aug 07 and the other has Chawton White written on it.

Assuming they still have those stickers on the new cars you shouldn't need the VIN to work out the colour and the MY ... Just pop the bonnet Thumbs Up

Go for the MY10.5 and screw them as much as possible on the price, minimize the depreciation for the future.

done, 10.5 ordered and should pick it up next monday. Handing over the MY06 tomorrow and getting a freeloader on loan for a few days..

Paramatta dealer could not match the North Sydney dealer for price, even on a comparable MY11 option.. A pity but there you go Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Hey Zilch,

Congratulations on the new wheels, though I am a bit jealous because mine is (supposedly) just being built now and is due mid Jan. It would be nice if I could get a firm date.

Are you going to be in Melbourne anytime soon so we can ooh and ahh over it?

BKHK - it's bad enough worrying about driving through this plague of locusts that is alleged to be hitting Melbourne, but now I have to also worry about the swarm of moths being released from your wallet..

It's is just too much... I think I'll lock myself in my house. Whistle Whistle

Could be a good idea, maybe Rimini will make this one!

If no one's CBD oriented, given our three locations, maybe Brighton (again) would be a good suggestion.

You are right 2r, I have looked at what MY10s maybe available and I think I will keep my wallet closed. None of them appeal that much that I want to fork out loads to own one.

Zilchy was probably right going for the 5 year term before buying new, trying to jump after 2 years is too punitive from a depreciation perspective....
