Warning to owners in Scotland from TIS

Tim In Scotland is at sea, but wanted me to warn owners north of the boarder of some criminal activity going on. Evil or Very Mad

James Thumbs Up

Please see the message from Tim below:

Got an email from home last night: some scrotes broke into my house on Saturday night. My father found the back porch and glass kitchen to porch door's glass smashed on Sunday after attending the village Rememberence Parade........ fortunately there was not one bit of other damage, so far nothing found to be missing and the RR was still on the drive, however the police and insurance appeared within 20 minutes as there had been other attempted thefts of expensive cars in the village the same night that they were investigating. Two other newish RR's and a brand new RRS were targeted but the owners had not left the keys lying around and their dogs had scared off the thieves. Police suspect they were looking for the RR's keys, just as well I don't leave them in the house while I am away! Verdict of police is they won't be back as they rarely strike twice in the same area (I don't really belive that, if they want the car they will try again I'm sure).

I would be obliged if you could post a warning to the Central Scotland FFRR and RRS owners that there is a gang operating stealing FFRR's , RRS and other expensive and fairly hard to get cars to order in rural areas of Central and Strathclyde Regions.

It's the first time in 28 years at the house that I have ever had a security scare/ problem.

Best Regards,

Tim
