I used to work with an Aussie, and he said when his mum cleans her house, if she seeds red backs in the house she just squashes them with her thumb!

OH MY GOD! I'm not scared of spiders, but I am scared of ANYTHING which stings, bites or is poisonous.

Again, any given Satruday night in.... Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Very brave woman, i would not treat a red back to anything less than a size 10 boot or a large inanimate object Exclamation Had a white tail spider run across my Nike Cap when i was wearing it once, took it off and jumped all over it, being a typical Brit i was not aware of the problem it could have caused until after i had dispatched it Shocked

As for the RRS, only had it 12 days and it goes back on tuesday Wink well back to the servicing dept Cool to have the Glove Box Handle reassembled (dodgy quality for such a marque), it fell apart after 5 days, a scratch found on delivery, small one found between the rear bumper assembly and panel (eagle eye wife) and a wiper arm which has rust on it. Apart from that it has been most enjoyable

Cheers

Jim

p.s. Ben, will try and drop you a note next week when i have touched based with the rest of the blokes at work about a day out (that will be 2 RRS, 2 Disco 3. 2 x MK1 Disco's), not sure how many will want to come though. Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Zilch - I love Sydney (The town) probably the best place on Earth to live. I have been to the great city 3 times and it would be my first choice of places to live if my work permitted it (Which it doesn't) What part of town do you live in? 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Live North Shore at the moment, but when my house sells in the UK Bow down Milestone i am going to move to the Northern Beaches. Moved from the UK with my company just over a year ago, however i have been coming to Sydney (and queensland Thumbs Up ) for a number of years.

North shore is great for the train into the CBD, Northern beaches not so good for commuting, great for lifestyle Twisted Evil Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Funny you should mention that Zilch, my glove box handle broke a couple of days ago - it still opens/shuts but the buttony thing has popped out. No surprise really for LR. Rolling Eyes

hmm Wink hunt around and see if you can see parts of a spring, a broken spring, we found that in the foot well. The handle is hanging off on one side and stays shut if you push it firmly and avoid any further contact Embarassed Very Happy Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Off Topic

Balmoral is very nice (they even have shark nets to make the locals feel safe, although known to have more holes than a pair of fishnets). As for the wife and moi, we are looking towards Dee Why, Nararbeen or Collaroy. Hayman, I would say the Bow down the whitsundays are just an awesome place, I learnt to scuba there (i would say dive but i believe there are to many Censored on here Wink who would extract the u) I will be heading back up there this year for a long weekend to get some more scuba time in. Another Pommie Bar Steward down under
