It's the little touches that count...

After just 4 weeks or so of ownership, you get a good idea of how much thought has gone into designing a car.

There are lots of little touches I like in the car (Under mirror puddle lamps as dicussed elsewhere).

My particular (Sad) favourite is:

When driving at night, and you indicate to turn a light illuminates the direction you are about to turn into (Not adaptive headlights, as I don't have those)

Anyone else noticed this, and what are your favourites? (Apologies if, again duplicating a previous thread) Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Example: Driving at night along main road, start to slow down to turn left into side road, , indicate, brake to turn and dependent on your speed, either:

a) If u are travelling below a certain speed, an area ahead and to the left of you will be illuminated (I think it's by the non-xenon light next to headlights)

b) If above certain speed, when you dip below that speed with indicator on it will THEN illuminate ahead and in direction you are turning.

Yes I noticed it and it constantly amuses me. It's more noticeable when you are on an unlit road. I think it kicks in when you drop below about 40 km/h...........It's the non-xenon side light if you take a look you can see the reflector configuration that makes it happen. cheers

I don't think the door mirror puddle lamps are standard across the range Jaymann.

I think they are market and spec dependant.

Plus I haven't got them. And believe me, if there was something missing from my motor I would know about it, 'cause someone at work would be queueing up to take the mickey. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.
