2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Who would like my car keys?

Hiya,
I own an 08 57 plate HSE that seems to vibrate when I drive it. I can feel it mostly on motorways but it's always there.
A certain dealership has had my car in the workshop from day one as I noticed the problem immediately after purchasing the car in April. Assuming that it was the ballancing I had no problem......until now. The dealer says the shaking is normal and if I can't tolerate it then swap cars for a discovery?? I've asked to drive a different sport to compare although they always fob me off.

I would like someone who owns a sport to drive mine to see if the vibrating is obvious or a characteristic as the dealership states.
I live in a small village outside Cardiff in Wales - if you're local and interested then please let me know. I will be accompanying you with the drive and I would like you to arrive in your sport so I can see that you're genuine!

Embarassed
BTW This isn't a joke A5 s-line special edition in black - missed.

I had the same problem on my 08 evident at around 60-70mph equivalent.

LR changed the steering rack 4 tyres and eventually the rear diff which they claim fixed the problem. I don't know because my car was almost new and I was "assisted" into a new car.

It maybe worth checking all these with a new service department.

It's a TDV6 and all my local dealers are the SS - Swansea, Cardiff and Newport. Big Cry
They've replaced my rear diff but don't seem to want to do anything else. They don't believe that my suspension is sagging either and the 4x4 screen has flashing red bars. I've emailed them today with a photo. A5 s-line special edition in black - missed.

Can you be a bit more descriptive on your vibration? is it wheel shimmy or drivetrain related?

Your dealers sound utterly hopeless. Your car is under warranty and they should fix it. Have you though of going to LPR and having a night in London to get it sorted?
