Thanks again, Biggles.

Considering the circumstances, I guess a scanned (copied) USB Pen Drive Smile is better than nothing!! Laughing Laughing

Its the thought that counts - many thanks again.

Hi Biggles,
sorry for referring to another post in this thread - but am very interested in hearing your thoughts of the BMW X5 compared to the RRS ? - since you have owned both...

RRS is my first SUV and want to reinforce I made the right decision Smile

Smudge,
Sorry did read youre request in the other topic.

In comparrison to the X5 the RRS is qiueter much more comfortable at present is using slightly more fuel, but is getting better.
It has more boot space but not as much small storage spaces up front in the drivers area.
I do think it handles as well as if not slightly better than the X5. The biggest thing I have noticed is that the sense of speed in the much more refined sport is very deceptive in the X5 You knew you were going fast in the sport you only know you are going fast when you look at the speedo, I have found that when entering corners when pushing the car hard on familiar roads that I am almost always travelling at a greater speed than I would have been in the X5. In the gearbox area the car is so much sweeter than the X5 change, but I do think the shift from first to second happens al to quickly and can only summize that the ratio is needed when in low range.
In all I am over the moon with the sport it is just so much more than the X5 and feels so much better that in my words it is hard to explain.
One area that I have yet to get any real time with is off road but I have no doubts from my experience with the X5 that this will be a much better experience. I had found myself parking the X5 up when off road in certain circumstances but I know from previous my range rover it could have been done.
hope this helps.

Regards. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.
