Anybody out there know if there is a difference between the 2005-09 and the 2009 > detachable Towbar. Looking on Duckworthparts web site they have different part numbers but just wondered if it's just a number change or if they are pyisically different as I am thinking of buying one off Fleabay for my 2010 MY  A MAN IS NOT OLD UNTIL REGRETS TAKE THE PLACE OF DREAMS

The 2010 detachable tow bar is different to the prior years. They're all swappable however. The 2010 towbars don't hang down as far, reducing grounding off-road.

Is that right ..... ? to reduce grounding off road i'd have thought you take it off......

Not sure when but the lock (Key) changed at some point that might drive top level part number....?

dont go buying off fleabay yet! i was looking at doing same so that i could get a bike carrier, but you cant get one secondhand for less than £150/200, i got a pattern part (by thule who make the LR ones) from ayr trailer centre - £300 including the wiring!
