Does anyone know how to do this? It appears its only held in by clips according to my local dealership, but i still dont know how to take it off. I want to remove it in order to paint it flat black.

Might not be the correct procedure but it worked for me......

Tailgate up you will see 2 drain holes at the left & right hand side....big screwdriver in and prise both sides off, the rest just pops off as you pull at it.

**I may just have been lucky not to break any of the clips though** Everybody is clinging on to their sanity….Some just hide it better than others….
