I'm having problems with my SAT NAV when i start the car it will say map dvd read error and the same error will occur when I put a destination in.

Would anyone know why this?

I would firstly take the disc out and give it a clean - might sort the problem. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

The backup disc that I use had this problem, I had the burn another one.

I keep the original out of the car. I keep telling myself 'It's a toy'
But I've broken quite a lot of toys in my time.....
