Front Foglights not working

I noticed this morning that both the front fog lights aren't working. I never use them so would be surprised both bulbs have gone simultaneously. Is this likely to be simply a fuse, or something more complicated?

All other lights, including the rear fog lights are fine.

What a coincidence - mine stopped about 2 weeks ago - I rarely use them either. As it happens I was putting it infor a service so asked - the explanation was this...

Apparently there are two cables that often rub together and short out so they had to remove the bumper, replace the cables and th fuse and then refit the bumper etc. Sounded plausible when they said it but now it sounds like a load of tosh. You might want to ask your dealer and see....

A few months ago I found one of my front foglights wasn't working. Dealer said it was a common problem of wiring chaffing through under the bumper so maybe it wasn't tosh after all. Smile

Both my front foglights went on Friday.

Rear works fine.

Am having the snorkel fitted on Monday so will get the guys to looks at it then.

Sounds like the same fault though. 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6
