BKHK - you don't drink, so does that mean you'll be feasting on Indian cola?! Laughing

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HST Stornoway Grey
Whitsundays/Melborne

Hi Zilch,

Have holidayed out in Whitsunday Islands at Hayman; and hope to go there again in Nov or Jan'
And Melborne is a fair City - once spent the whole night at the large Casino there returning to Guest House on Richmond Hill at 7.30am! - Mate, Jonny Creber who is a case lost about £4 grand using his girlfriend's card (She was in England working). Think he is still paying it off - though it was 1991 I think.

I had 'the beast out last weekend, to devon and back through Wilts to home in Newcastle. Car just eats up the miles. Today, later picking up my Golf team criss crossing Newcastle to go to Rockliffe Hall, Darlington for a Pro-am. I have 2 scrath golfers and 2 off 16. Not bad eh?

Hope to go to Perth and Sydney on my trip to Aus'. It's a great place but was taken by U.S. Travelling there 23.09 and travelling right down California in a Sebring contv or Mustang.

Getting a Jag on Sat; 5 litre xk conv - for all those sunny days up here. Not today though, pouring again this morning in Blighty. All day I expect.

Lord Fenham

It will be nice, not sure about hayman myself, some people tell me although it is a very expensive and exclusive place, it is a bit dated and needs a refresh ... That time of year will be pretty "warm" and tropical Cool

Jan i will be heading either back to Sydney or moving to Singapore, so there will be a nice Holiday Home for rent with Coral Sea views Whistle (member rates/+donations to Martin of course) Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

As I understand there are plans for several 4wd trips on the Sunday. (The Fri evening is the cocktail party at MLR and the Sat the show day, followed by the (optional) dinner at Alber Park Yacht club)

I believe one will be a re-enactment of the first ever trip by the RRCV from the 70's, with other trips having different themes and requiring different levels of capability..

That's all I know, but there should be an update on the website with more info on this very topic very soon.

Does that answer your question 640?

There are a quite a few bookings from the RRC NSW and I understand they are planning to drive down by convoy for the Friday evening.

There are 2 trips coming down from the RRC NSW. The first one leaves a wek before the show and comes down via the Victorian High Country. The other trip is leaving on the Friday and coming directly down the black-top to Melbourne. 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey with Alpaca premium leather, Adaptive cruise, Adaptive Bi-xenons, sunroof, Premium Nav, Premium ICE Logic 7, telephone, active locking rear diff, console coolbox, seat memory, powerfold mirrors, tow pack, window tint, dual battery, engel fridge, Goodyear Mud-Terrain tyres.

Sorry it took a bit long to reply, At this moment i am in the UK, i returned last Saturday straight straight from the Melbourne trip, i had to return due to a bereavement in the family (father), will ping you all when back on deck in OZ at the end of next week.

Some interesting sites in the UK, saw my first Kahn Sport and was surprised i did not throw up with as much venom as i thought i would, and on Sunday Morning hurtling down the M4 to wales, a brand new Full Fat Vogue towing a Tin tent Shocked
