Steering Wheel Nut

Morning All,

Just a quick question - About to replace my worn steering wheel & rather than strip off the airbag & discover i do not have the correct socket, anyone have an idea of what size the nut is??

16mm socket, or 5/8" if you have an AF tool kit Wink

Yeah, nothing fancy - smooth leather with a "Sport" grip....whatever that consists of - Just replacing the badly worn one.

Job Done.....

Just to update….the Nut is in actual fact a BOLT!!

Quite an easy job for anyone considering it – No airbag issues, wiring simple to swap over & switches within the two trims are all simple to transfer. An hour from start to finish.





And another little purchase from the same folk……

Laughing A bad picture I think. I reckon the flash from the camera has kinda shadowed it a bit as in the flesh it is not really much chunkier at all. Everybody is clinging on to their sanity….Some just hide it better than others….
