Is this a by product of me not watching the news or reading the paper over the weekend? What strikes? |

You were just as well not knowing I think Shmoogle.......... it will be a good day to stay at home. Glad I don't have to go anywhere or do anything. Round here the dustbins won't be collected which seems strange to me as I was under the impression we made all the binmen redundant a couple of years ago and they all got taken on by a private contractor the next day.......... Means they will get to work overtime to catch up with the backlog! A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

How many people are going in strike? I thought it was just for Shropshire but it's clear I was wrong! My dads an IT guy for the council and isn't going to bother striking but some of his collegues are, and my mums a teacher and says the teachers aren't striking but her schools going to be closed due to cleaners etc going on strike so she's planning a day in the pub with all the other teachers |
