CR-3 Cradle issue

Hi All

little help if you can.

I have manage to aquire a CR-3 cradle for my 2006 SE. clipped it in and inserted the old Nokia phone (correct model)

The adress book and all controlls work, I can make and recieve calls, however the person on the other end can not hear a word I say, they come through load and clease.

I thought it maybe a mic issue, however I can blue tooth my Iphone the the system and make and recieve calls no problem.

any ideas on what may be muting my voice, phone is not on mute......

Thanks in advance

Paul

Sounds like the phone is not connecting to the cradle properly or the cradle is not connecting to the car properly.

Back in the day I had lots of the old Nokia phone models with various gadgets attached to them including car kits and seem to remember the little brass connectors often used to need a quick clean.

Am i right in saying in them old Nokia phones you had to pick what profile you wanted, meaning general silent work ect....... I may have smoked to much but it may be worth a look.

Also does the phone work fine and you can hear people on it without being in the holder... just a call to another phone on it or to it

Arggghhhh

New phone arrive today and still not voice can be heard by caller

I can confirm the mic in the car works as voice commands work to dial a number or change radio station.

The phone is in car profile.

All I can think is the cradle in no good, any one know if they can be checked?
