Thanks, started to fit new belt and tensioner ,strugled to remove the starter motor to get to the timing hole these designers really are crazy. The cars an auto so has different pin than a manual. We have found a hole close to where the original belt was fitted about 2 teeth away,we have used this but have piston and valve clash. We may have valve damage but in the slipped position it turned over on the starter, any tips please ,it may be there are more holes, does any one know if when the pin is in the hole if no 1 piston is at top dead centre ,cheers.John. 2oo5 sport tdv6 (broken) S1 88 diesel (owned for 35 yrs) !968 Nelson 800hp ex round britain Cowes torquay race boat. |
