I use the voice activation all the time and only have had a couple of problems with it not understanding the command. The best commands are "I'm hungry" or "I need fuel" and it will oblige with the right POIs..

When you have passengers in the car I find the best wheeze is to bark an order at poor old Navigation Nora (or Norbert, depending on your preference..), when she can't understand you tell her shes a 'useless daft old bint'.. the apology you get is just so satisfying...

..hmm, if only I could re-program the wife...

hi think the voice command is just a novelty and for me its worn off..
i've used it about three times, and thats been showing it off to my mates, and thats it.. never again.. occassionally i press the button by accident, but i prefer just to use the buttons and the stereo controls.. not like they are miles away or anything.

It undestands my brummy acccent quite well though, and i have it on the woman voice (didn't know u could change it until reading on here).

The best is to say 'Navigation - I'm Hungry' when in the centre of London - the whole screen is taken up with restaurant icons. Very Happy Even better is that when you scroll over some of the icons the address & telephone number are displayed. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

it's pointless

I gave up on the voice control back in september, there is nothing worse than that infernal woman saying "sorry?". It strikes me that the button would be better placed in the back seat to entertain the kids. Laughing RRS TDV6 (gone)

Best description yet.
This is the poorest most useless feature of the sport and land rover should be ashamed to advertise it.
