2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

annoying moving seat

my drivers seat seams to move about 1mm, either forwards or back under hard breaking or setting off quickly.
its really doing my head in! the 2 moving parts are the same moving parts that move when the seat is moved forwards and backwards - if that makes any sense!?
so i know its not loose bolts into the chasis etc.

any ideas?

slight movement in the the seat movement rods, I have it too on my FL2, no fix yet as far as i know

but there was a LR interim fix of making the seats slightly out of line by manually rotating the rod by a few mm's to prevent it until they solve it, if they are actually trying to

theres a thread with the LR guide on it somewhere on here

if your car has warranty i would take it back, my brother had the same problem with his MY58 and the dealer sorted it. its a really annoying problem, i drove it and it drove me mad. If you don't have a warranty i'm sure someone will come along and tell you what the fix is.

Ah great! so its not just mine.... right i'll print it out and locate my grips...
so its the left cable i adjust. hopefully it is obvious which is the left cable.

didnt say before but it seems to feel like it moves just on the left side. so seeing the drawing it all makes sense now. looking forwards to trying to sort it tommorrow now!

p.s. no warranty no, its a 2005 model.
