Hoary old chestnut - Mobile Phones

Just had an upgrade from MMO2 to a Motorola V3RZr or what evrthey are called and wonder if LR do a kit for them. I don't want to go visit the dealer just to find out. I have one of the silly bluetooth things that stick out your ear but hate it. I don't have PTI fitted to my car. Anybody know about these things? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

There's no cradle available from LR for the V3 but it works fine with the LR bluetooth kit. I've just upgraded to the V3i and that works too

The V3 is just about as bluetooth as it gets and will work with pretty much any kit including Nokia, Motorola and Parrot (which although a duff name is really good gear). You will only get a couple of days out of the battery with b/t activated but the USB chargers only cost a couple of quid on eBay.

Good phone........but fragile.

Dropped by the dealers while I was in Stirling and they say "Uh, you got a motorola...................should have bought a Nokia! but anyway your car doesn't have bluetooth. Sorry we cannot help as the guys who knows all about phones is out selling a Sport just now!" Anyway they took me into the service workshop to show me a very neat Motorola B/T thingy on a D3 - aftermarket looks like a small roadangel device hard wired into the electrics and connects to HiFi system. Very neat instalation includes speaker and tiny mike.............. and no they didn't know where he had had it done Rolling Eyes So the big hunt is on for a motorola phone supplier who does car fitting in Central Scotland. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

NOKIA N70

Whilst were on phones - I have just aquired a nokia N70 ( still got the 6230i ) Has anyone had any experience of this phone - its logic is SO different to that of previous nokias Sad . It works fine in the RRS on bluetooth by the way. It takes great pics for a mobile and has an incredibly LOAD ring , much better than I have experinced on prev phones.

So any thoughts re its overal abilities......???
