Scuffed bumper

Hi all,

Dont think previous message got thru - apologies if this is a repeat...

Can I lightly sand & aerosol spray a scuffed bumper corner or is it a pro job? It looks as if there is a lacquer covering the paint..??

Many thanks

Tim

The front and rear bumpers are sprayed with a special primer/paint that has a elastic polymer in it.
You may want to check with your local paint shop before attempting. Good luck! mike murphy

Just had mine fixed by a local auto body shop for a couple hundred bucks. The parking sensor mount was broken as well, and so the sensor was replaced. Total of $400 (US). Can't even tell anything happened now.

(And no, the scofflaw who did it did not leave a note.)

Worth noting that the invoice did reflect a "flexible ealstic" add-in to the paint, both of which were OEM from RR.
