Door Wind Deflectors

Anyone have these installed? I'm considering purchasing them but would like to know how much of a difference they made from someone who might know. Thanks.

I won't if they are terribly obtrusive Smile but they seem to be discreet. anyone have a photo with them installed?

Aaaaaaaggggghhhh Shocked Big Cry Next you'll be installing one of those horrid bug deflector shield things that American SUV drivers seem so fond of on the bonnet (sorry, Hoods) of their vehicles! What do they know Whistle mudflaps and wind deflectors fitted here Evil or Very Mad Exclamation

Have fitted clip in ones and use during winter months, due to more rain etc. Stops the rain water and windscreen spray coming in and going over all the window switches. Have rear ones as well but not fitted this winter as do detract in looks and do not offer any advantages, but do ccreate a little more road and wind noise. Had Landrover ones fitted to Disco 2 and these were stuck on the outside window strips and beleive the RRS landrover option are the same. These offer no increase in noise with window shut, but the same as clip in ones for less turbulance and noise when open. Obviously you will have to hide in dark corners as they cannot be easliy removed and as seen from the previous postings some might consider this an act worthy of incarceration

Actually joking aside, If you are going to fit Wind deflectors or for that matter a bug sheild on the bonnet of the car at least the LR ones are less obtrusive than most! It's those aftermarket clear plastic ones that sort of really jut out like big ears that I really can't stand. At the end of the day mate, you do what the hell you like to your car and don't take any notice of us.. My wife would tell you I talk CR Censored P all the time anyway! Confused ........And she's always right! Whistle Laughing 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Laughing Top Tip of The Day - always marry a woman who isn't cleverer than you and is slightly submissive. Too late to change now I know. But this is a tip for your next wife in your next life! Thumbs Up
