2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Galway Green

I'm up for it!

I've just bought a set of 19" wheels to save mine from getting too knackered and I've booked myself on a trip with the Disco boys.

Just had a chat to Jeremy one of our Sales Exec's who has a well equipped Defender G4 and who regularly goes green laning (as far as Bosnia in the past).

He seems happy to lead a Sailsbury Plain day at some point, however he said that he would need to drive the route the week before to check that the terrain would be suitable for RRS.

It is just an idea, but if there was a donation to the site and a donation to Jeremy to cover the fuel from the week before then I think something could be arranged. Obviously this would not be connected in any way shape of form with Lookers, however I would come along for the fresh air!

You will get Salisbury Plain mud in every bit of your RRS. Done Salisbury a few times and it's great - some good deep water splashes and some nice fords nearby to clean the car off afterwards. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I wouldn't take the new RRS there as once that dirty you'll never get the thing really clean again. I would however take one of James' nice new demo cars to show others what the RRS can do. Thumbs Up 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Do we have a potential leader then Mike? Do you know the Plains at all? If so then you set the date and we'll all have to work around you! Thumbs Up

You could try speaking to AndrewS or TFC on Disco3, they have organized great days on Salisbury that have been non damaging and both are LR qualified instructors. Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate
