Bought a set of Michelin's for the Disco TD5 from Costco last year, they inflate all new tyres with Nitrogen, cant say I noticed any difference though. I will see if it makes a difference when I have to buy new tyres for the RRS, not too soon I hope done 16K but still have 5-6 mm left.

Agree.....makes a slight difference in Formula 1 cars and when you're 0.1 of a second behind a slight difference is important but in a normal road car a bit of a gimmick

We have a company smart car too, nothing fancy like a brabus one, but they are quite fun to drive and the boot is the perfect size for 2 cases of bottled stella, and the cars the perfect size to fit into friends driveways with limited carparking

For some reason tyres are supposed to hold their pressure better when filled with nitrogen as opposed to just air, that was the main benefit offered to me when I opted for the nitrogen.

Slovenia 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Nick as I was told Nitrogen is especially beneficial during the summer months because of the hot temperatures/tires can get overheated on the hot asphalt and less important in the winter. 2008 RRS TDV8 HSE, Java black, Alpaca,.....

Google says......

"It's not about the nitrogen. It's about reducing oxygen, water vapor and other gases.

By reducing the percentage of oxygen, water vapor and other gases in your tires from 22% to 7% or lower, your tires will maintain proper pressure longer than if you use “plain old air.” For example, with 95% nitrogen in your tires, they retain optimal pressure three to four times longer."
