Yes thats absolutely fine, theres 2 thermistors in the compressor that the controller uses to make sure the compressor turns off before it gets hot enough to cause an issue. Just make sure its not running constantly, if it is then the stealer will need to change the relay. Trust me, i'm an Engineer!
