United States 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Giverney Green
Horrible Intermittent Noise

I have a 2006 RRS HSE with 58K mikes. I have had two episodes of a horrible (screeching) noise, that I would describe as someone trying to start a car while it's running.

The first time, the car was running, parked and I moved the steering wheel in the up position.

The second time (last night) the car was running, in park and I simple opened the door.

I sure hope that someone can point me in the right direction, thanks in advance Thumbs Up

If it activated first time when turning the wheel I would check the power steering fluid first and then get the pump drive belt checked out next.
