Parking Brake Amber light on...................

OMG pounding down the M9 for a cobweb blowing out session this afternoon and the amber parking brake warning comes on. As I was on the way to the dealer anyway I ignored it. Poor guy at the service reception has been inumdated with D3 and Sport owners all with gremlins in their electronics in the last two days. They took the car round the back to the service bays and plugged it into the computer which could find nothing wrong! Seems the cold and wet is playing havoc with the electronic systems. At least they didn't have to tell me to call LR assist - he was already on their forecourt with a D3 with drowned electronics and every light on the dash on - even switching off and allowing the self check wasn't resetting the system! So much for 70cm of wading depth!!!!! That car had only been on the Motorway and been following trucks through standing water 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

You'll get NO warnings/beeps - the car will be too hot/tired/weary to bother letting you know theres something wrong Wink

Bobby just to put your mind at rest you should have a trouble free life with your RRS if you live in a country where:
a) It never rains
b) It never snows
c) It never freezes
d) The sun never shines
e) It is never hot
f) It is never cloudy
g) You won't get dampness inside it
h) You never have to go off the tar
i) You never have to go on the tar
j) You will never get dirt on it
k) It is never humid
l) It is never very dry

If you find such a place then your RRS will not let you down if
a) You never drive it
b) You don't carry passengers
c) You have no kids to press buttons they don't know what they do
d) You never have to use the PDC
e) You are totally blind so cannot see all the warning lights, but then you wouldn't be allowed to drive it if you were blind!!
