You can always add an after factory fit - look at our sponsors page for a fitter. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

i have a factory fitted dvd multichanger fitted in the boot, works great through touch screen, it loooks like a simple bolt in job so assume everything you need on screen is already there, it is a hybrid TV though purple people eater

United States 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Rimini Red

Anyone got the factory DVD in the boot to play on the main screen upfront in the USA ?

I hear that US law prohibts the playing of video even if the vehicle is stopped so I'm wondering if the US spec RR is just missing a cable to carry the signal up front or whether they mod'ed the software to prohibit it...

Anyone ?

Thanks

Might be worth asking in the RRS section over on rangerovers.net.... they are US-focused (as you probably know) Very Happy

They added that missing video cable on NAS cars starting with MY07, so you may watch a DVD on the front monitor (only while parked, of course) if you own a 2007 and later. On 2006s, you can't watch a DVD on the front monitor even while parked since the connection is completely missing. The video feed cable between RSE module and front touchscreen is not easy to find and somewhat proprietary, unfortunately.
