Taking our beloved RRS to Cyprus!

Can anyone out there assist?

We are taking our RRS with us to Cyprus - permanently - This summer.

Question is, Sat Nav DVD only covers Europe as far as Italy(ish) so will need another disc for Greece, Cyprus etc.

Anyone know how much, whether one exists for Cyprus and how easy it will be to source? Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Good point. I imagine they should be stock items available for purchase. Have you tried your parts dept? You used to be able to buy all sorts of SatNav areas on DVD from BMW although I know LR are catching up in terms of keeping in front of the curve Wink

I'm also down here in the sticks outside of what constitutes the world for LandRover. My boss drives a RR Vogue and he tells me he has been informed that they have a new LR Satnav DVD which covers all 25 member states of the EU (very PC of them!!). This doesn't help me as I'm not in that area either Mad but it might be worthwhile to check it out RRS TDV6 (gone)

Thanks for feedback.

Looks like LR need to pull their finger out and treat all their customers equally, UK or worldwide.

I'll dig a little further as when I've spoken to UKI dealers, they've looked blankly at me! Shocked Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

The Satnav is not a special one for LR, I think they are mas market systems with software for LR. I'm not sure but they may even be Alpine so you should be able to get DVD maps from any outlet selling Alpine Satnav systems. LR only brand the stuff as LR to make more money 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

No there are no disks for Greece or Cyprus . (that i know of)
There is only 1 compagny that makes them (a greek one) but they work only on there own handheld device and mobile phone.
I looked for it everywhere even TOMTOM says on there website they have it , but they dont.

I' d sell it here before you go and by a new one in Cyprus, loads of Cypriot sourced UK spec RRS are appearing here, same spec huge saving. 2nd hand RRS's are fetching top dollar here - just a thought
