If you or anyone else knows what the Land Rover typeface is, could you post the name here?
I'm almost positive it is Trade Gothic Extended (but extra bold with a modified "G"), but want to be sure.

As for this design... "special" what? Are these to be badges or sills?
As a badge, I don't think this is a good shape. I would stick with the
oval,

When you say badge, Tasmod... you mean for the rear hatch?

Again, I think the oval would be better than the rounded rectangle... even Overfinch go that way.
