Not really. There is some restriction to rear view with it down but you can still see through the rear view mirror. I think it's been a great addition to the car and money well spent. For some reason Max moved the alarm sensor - although he's an expert in the wiring looms for range rovers to seemed to know the best place. Apparently the unit is bonded to the roof!

Fitted mine today... I've put it in the same place as you did Jonathan - just got to re-mount the alarm sensor tomorrow and I'm finished.

LR do an adaptor kit which integrates the sensors IIRC - removes that smoke alarm look |
