Mud action in the Watagans

Thought you guys would enjoy some footage from our trip to the watagans yesterday.

My mate put his cruiser on it's belly down a steep muddy descent with deep ruts and I had to pull him out and up whilst also trying to get through a mud hole myself just a few metres past the top of the hill.

The road is warrawolong Rd that navigates the outer edge of Mt Warrawolong. Lot's of motorbikes love this trek and have unfortunately churned some big single lane holes in the mud that steps you off balance when you try and go through on four wheels.

Great fun all the same.

Can send a google map ref if anyone wants to know where it is.

For those who like to frequent the Watagans, I was informed on the weekend that Sawpit road is now a complete boghole. It was pretty badly overgrown with lantana when i was there last October, but it is pretty much off limits for vehicles at the moment according to my source. 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6

Sorry Zilch. Am so used to posting all my private home made porn, I accidentally set this to private as well.

I must set up separate accounts for that kind of stuff Wink

Same link should be open now.

Enjoy.

PS. Apols to all for the actual shots of the recovering being filmed from behind a bush. SWMBO had read some nasty stories about shackles flying off and killing people and was being overly cautious. 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6

JS leaving the porn aside Shocked .. some excellent footage and the Tojo recovery is a nice touch.. What footwear was the Sport running on, i would think if i attempted it on my standard HP wranglers it would have been interesting Question

Cheers

Am running Cooper Zeon LTZ 285/60's on Black Betty and have been incredibly impressed in both mud and sand.

They are actually a little big and I very very occasionally get a slight rubbing on the inside rear guard when I'm road driving and belting it through corners. As the rear suspension dips i get a very faint rub but it leaves no marks on the tyres or the inner guard.

The only other time you notice is turning on full lock over rough terrain. again it is just the suspension drop that produces a slight rubbing.

Have done 25,000kms on them and so far so good.

As you can see from the vids, my rrs goes everywhere and I'm yet to have any complaints about the rubber.

When I fitted them back in April last year, Coopers told me it was the first RRS to have them fitted. 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6
