Are you overweight for your MOT?

Reading LRI saw small article re commercial vehicle testing changes that may effect Landrover owners.

Basically says DVLA have been using a default weight of 3499kg for landrovers and under the new rules any vehicle over 3 tonnes will now have to take a class 7 mot test for commercial vehicles.

As advised checked my log book to see what the revenue weight is for mine, and it is blank Exclamation Question Exclamation Question Exclamation Question

As mine is imported and not registered in the normal way wondered what other people had on theirs and will effect RRS owners

Mot

Hi - I own a class 4 & 7 Mot centre and all RRS would be classed as a class 4 because they are a passenger vehicle but some Landrovers are a class 7 if they are a pick up and over 3500kg . Hope this helps Very Happy
