Service Recall Q079 - 08&09MY Rear Ride Height Sensors

Don't think this has been highlighted here yet.

RRS 2008 & 2009 with VINs with the last six digits in the range 144333 - 215577 are to be recalled for new rear ride height sensors due to porous plastic housings and subsequent corrosion.

See this link on DISCO3 http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic44875.html.
The recall text is herehttp://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/use...Action.pdf

Well my 08 was booked into LR Canterbury today , (waited 2 weeks to get an appointment) , car was there by 9am to get the recall height sensors changed .............

By 11am i questioned how it is going ...... was told 15min car would be ready ......... 20 min later told they do not have the parts in stock ...... as they needed the part number of each sensor and they did not hold them in stock !!

All this after it was booked in 2 weeks ago ........... what a joke Neutral

So it is re booked for Monday , if the parts arrive

Joke is not the word.

I'd book it in elsewhere out of principle and ring the service manager and explain why he's lost the job. Thats the only way they will learn to stop taking the p*ss like this! FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy
Ex 2006 RRS SC - garbage
Ex 2016 135i M Sport - dream car
