Front recovery points

According to the owners manual the central front recovery point is only for 'on road' recovery and towing, not, off road recovery.

Now if I can fit the winch to the SC then I'll have a suitable front recovery system in theory. However, if it doesn't fit and as addtional assistance to recovery the RRS out of soft sand I want to install a decent front recovery point so that I can be towed out forwards.

Does anybody know if there areany prducts on the market for this or the best place to install a custom recovery point would be? I was thinking of installing something on the sub chassis at the front, basically what the winch mmount secures to.

Any info would be welcome.

Thanks Guys

Guy
