The reason for changing away from the TDv6 is because of Euromox emissions regs for new cars. TDv6 2.7 cannot meet them whereas the 3.0l will. Freelander is rumoured to be getting the 2.2l 4 pot from the Mondeo, X type Jag, C5 Citroens and various Pugs. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
