United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
2011 HSE 75k advice

Looking at a 2011 HSE autobiography with 75 Full Land Rover service history on Saturday. New tyres, discs and pads, all belts changed and a receipt for £1600.

Weekend you ideally and to go away with the kids a few times a year. Maybe turning into a family car in the dirtier.

Generally worried about the crankshaft - is it really that common to go and new engine? Obviously no one can say. I had a Porsche 912 2 years ago and everyone was saying about the IMS bearing but I had no problems. I expect maintenance and can afford that, but couldn’t afford a new engine.

Cheers

First off, your post reads like a spam attempt. Some gibberish. If you're a real person, not a bot, then welcome to the mad world of RRS desire. Thumbs Up

The crank failure is not "common". The 3.0 V6 diesel is probably LR's biggest seller and there aren't vehicles littering the highways and byways with broken cranks.

RRS do like miles on them. Short journeys are killers. Weekend use is fine so long as it is decent miles. If all you want it for is a quick trip in to town on a Saturday morning then that's a recipe for big bills - buy a Golf or Focus instead. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I think the OP maybe using a phone with auto correct (or not correct in this instance).

It would be nice to see an introduction etc. Before leading into a question.
