It's been a weak point ever since the vehicle came out, as is changing the fuse itself. The 'official' fix is uprating to 15A, as mentioned although apparently there is a technical bulletin on this, but good luck with the pincers provided!

Picture of the task that faces you:

EDIT for spelling and to add picture link

Completely different fuse box layout in my RRS, from my limited inspection in the dark last night it looks to be number 12 fuse, which was a PoP to pull out. Sadly, it didn't appear to be blown Big Cry

I'm an idiot Embarassed

That's a photo of the fusebox behind the glovebox, not the one in the engine bay. No bloody wonder it looked different, what a numpty Rolling Eyes

Changed No 11 fuse for a 15 amp tonight, hey presto, washers that work. Didn't struggle getting the new fuse in, but dropped the old one somewhere into the depths of the dash. No doubt it's going to rattle like Censored and then fall onto my passengers' feet at some point. Ex-G4 Challenge RRS HSE, BV55 YZE. Subtle shade of orange ! Now registered YZE481 G4RRS in Melbourne.

15a fixed mine

although the fuse tool and a few fuses are not down the back somewhere, only LR would put the fuse box in such an ackward place

Rolling with laughter

I dropped one down the black hole when i did mine - quicker in the end to drive to halfords and fit one from there than get the LR spares out and fitted Laughing
